recreational and cultural opportunities. Residents and visitors enjoy annual traditions such as the
Fall Dinner Theatre at the town Multiplex, while the Stardome and Curling Rink serve as hubs of
activity throughout the winter months. The new swimming pool/waterpark, soccer
pitches, and ball diamonds are popular gathering places for families and sports teams alike.

These programs are made possible through the dedication of the Balgonie Recreation Board and
countless community volunteers, who also help support facilities such as the Balgonie Public
Library. The town is well-served with essential amenities, including a grocery store, hotel,
restaurants, service stations, and garages. Educational needs are met with both elementary and
high school facilities within the district, and a new daycare center was recently added to serve
young families. Spiritual life is supported by several local churches, while safety is ensured by a
highly skilled and active Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition, Balgonie continues to invest in modern infrastructure. With the help of government
grants, the town recently completed a new water storage and treatment facility to complement its
own well-water system, ensuring reliable access to safe and clean water for years to come.
